I started with the AKU 2.2 Sprint update a long time ago... this definitely made a difference so I'm not sure its the same.
For example, I definitely notice a rather large (20-30%) increase in battery life now. My phone was at 20% this morning and after about 30 minutes of phone calls, some brief texting, and playing with Simple OS, its down to 10%. Normally, it would have dropped my call in the middle without warning and shut off the wireless, then about 15 minutes later, it would have powered itself off. Its one of my biggest complaints about the 6700 as it would be nice if the device would NOT turn off the wireless ... or at least would turn it back on when you plug it in to charge it. |

I'm with telecom New Zealand, and apparently my radio version is 1.30. Is the version number arbitrary, or do I have an updated version (seems unlikely as the update is from is the 30/5/06, but I can upload the nbf if you'll like).

I used Araxis Merge to do a binary compare of the radio file and the one posted/referenced in this thread. They are binary identical - exactly the same file. Both are 10/18/2006. |

Updated Rom
Thanks for the updated rom. It seems very stable and has just about everything I need without having too much. Please allow me to ask a few questions:
1. The rom has Wmodem but it still won't work with usb, is that correct? 2. Can you print to a bluetooth enabled printer? I have an HP8100 printer. The printer is recogized, but printing to it fails. 3. How do you change the location so that the weather data is for your area. |

When i include CSR Bluetooth Stack WModem give the Problem But as CSR adds so many FUnctionality though i haven't checked anything till now. As Internet Connection Sharing is Doing nice Job over Blueooth and USB i make my Choice on CSR after loosing WModem.
As i have not Bluetooth enabled Printer so never checked it. To Change the Location in SPB weather Jusk Tap and Holder on Weather Panel and Select the Appropriate City |

Speaker on by Default when Making Calls
Thank you for your response. Do you know of any way to default to speakerphone on when making and receiving calls? I find it a nuisance to have to tap the screen to talk on the speaker.
