Having trouble with the .mscr files - when I edit them on the PC to the proper path they still claim there is no app associated with them. So then I went to the file manually, ran it, pointed it to the .exe I wanted it to point to and the buttons still don't work for me. Am I missing something here, or do some of them just not want to work? Camera, contacts, TCPMP, I can't get any to work. I have added Games and Apps through the input.txt file and that works like a champ.

You can't physically get to the CTRL Panel. You have to edit the .mcsr files on your PC/Laptop FIRST. Then load them onto your device. The codes in my previous post show you what to place in the corresponding .mcsr file.

Also, you have to place the FILES & folders in the root folder. So take everything that's in the iTask folder, and place those files & reference folders in the root.

That error sounds about right, since WM5 won't launch .exe's directly. For the main buttons, you have to point to either a Control Panel item OR a shortcut file (ie. XXXXX.lnk) Pointing to .exe files only works for the games/apps on the input text file.

Sweet! It won't let me browse to a shortcut, but I can change the paths easily enough in textpad. Thanks for the heads up!

The following folders are filled with application shortcuts that you can link to [example - run ("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\internet explorer.lnk") ]:

\windows
\windows\start menu
\windows\start menu\programs
\windows\start menu\settings

You should read the readme in the help files folder. This program isn't grab and go, and not 6700 friendly out of the box. It isn't designed specifically for the 6700, but does work well on one.

I was thinking I can upload my config for others to use once I get it finalize, but I'm not there yet.

You need to install Flash 7, make sure you have the newest version, as well as the MortScript program he links to on the thread. Then you copy the file and folders all to root ( \ ) That should get you started.

someone could make this into a cab for n00bs *cough cough*....I could but I found another similar app that doesn't use mortscript. Working on tweaking...may share with everyone when I finish.
