I have Installed the OEM Intent Midlet Manager but the Font Size looks too big
and so many jar file run but the Size Gets Burst out Any Body please Decrease the Font in Following Reg and make it Standard in New Release [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tao\intent\conf\sys\ui \midp\vnd\font] "alttextfont"="monotype.com,24" "labelfont"="andale,24,bold" "size"="24" "stringfont"="andale,24" |
|
||||
Keep the Font as
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tao\intent\conf\sys\ui \midp\vnd\font] "alttextfont"="monotype.com,14" "labelfont"="andale,14,bold" "size"="14" "stringfont"="andale,14" So every jar file will run Perfectly |

Hello from venezuela
Greetings
I have installed the ROM of bigj´s but she wanted to prove the ROM of helmi. When trying it to do it it leaves following error to me: “error 120: Country you go errorâ€; in .doc that it places there in the ROM it says that I must look for .ruu more suitable for the apparatus with the correct language; and it is that perhaps bigj´s is not of he himself language?. Please if it can help me on the matter. Thanks. Excuse for my english. I from venezuela (talk spanish) |

I am using a mix of R4 and some of BigJ's OEMs, including the Palm SMS messaging.
Now I haven't configured the Palm SMS messaging any different, but I cannot receive any voice mails or text messages or MMS messages. I am on verizon. Does anybody know of a workaround for this? or the settings that need to be configured? Thanks. -AR

Helmi Kitchen compiled
Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone has compiled the Helmi's new kitchen (custom ROM)? I am currently running BigJ's 1.1r release, it is working very well for me, but i would like to try out Helmis release before I start loading applications to my PPC. I am really new at flashing ROM (to-date, I have only tried Kirvins Clean and Simple and BigJs) and I am nervous about attempting to cook my own ROM using Helmis kitchen. Sorry if I am confusing you as I am also learning the meaning of the different phrases as I go ) Thanks P.S Device: PPC6700 Carrier: Telus (Canada) ROM: BigJ 1.1r Installed Programs: - SPB Phone Suite (1.1) - SPB Mobile Shell (1.0) - SPB Backup (1.6.1) |

The latest version of Big J's ROM is built using Helmi's R4 kitchen. The process of building and flashing a custom ROM is fairly straightforward, and you'll find a great "how-to" manual in the main directory of the kitchen once it is extracted. Be sure to read the manual completely a couple of times before diving in. If you have questions, either post them here or drop by the chat room by clicking the 'Chat' button at the top of this screen. Have fun!

few questions about cooking a rom with this..
ive already cooked 3 stripped down roms with helmi's r4 release and i must say its very streamlined and self explanitory. all of the themes use the apache heli boot screen, i dont like that.. i want my ugly sprint logo back with the green windows mobile crossbow splash. No combination i come up with results in that.. and how do i NOT install those extra theme's bubbles, metal, wmbe? every theme ive tried in the cooking has resulted in those extras being installed... Can someone walk me through on keeping those and the apache boot screen out?? thanks! |

Thank you for your response and the info. I did not know BigJ's 1.1r was based off of helmis release - thats great. I'll take a look at the instructions in the kitchen - still a little apprehensive about building my own as I really dont want to mess up my phone (Telus does not offer insurance on their handsets), but after reading it a couple times hopefully I will develop the courage to start cooking Thanks again for the info. |
