Dialer Skin from HTC Touch

I found this at xda-developers. Please take a look at this dialer skin...it's been pulled from the HTC Touch, but still needs some tweaks. Is anyone willing to touch up this skin and release an OEM for it? Thanks so much!!

you beat me to it. It is actually going to be in the next kitchen release along with a bunch of other Touch stuff. Right now the smartdial is flakey so I am working on that.

Also, you may notice that there is no Talk button on the dialer. Not a huge deal, but still a change.

everything I can get to work. Right now it is basically a theme, dialer skin, audio manager, and some very minor things.

Ok, may be a dumb question, but now that I think about it... How difficult would it be to retool the BuildOS.exe to allow for the selection of a phone app skin and as well as a today theme. It seems right now they are linked, so I couldn't have the crossbow theme applied with Despiser black phone skin, correct?

If I wanted to do that right now, could I just replace the files in 'Optional_Crossbow_Phone_DPI_96' with the files in 'Optional_DespiserBlack_Phone_DPI_96' and rebuild?

You mean, this has been addressed for the next release?

...or this has been posted already and I need to learn how to search better?

Sorry if it's the latter but I didn't come up with anything.

yes, the dialers are seperated out in the next release. So, you could choose the standard Crossbow theme and any of the available dialers or your own if you choose. I am still working out issues with smartdialer though.

It should work. The main problem is that smartdial only works until thr first call. then it does not function anymore
