How to work Insurance?

About a month ago my apache got its screen all messed up and I have insurance so I did a claim online and I got a new apache sent to me after a $50 deductable. Which was fine, I didn't mind paying $50 for a new phone. Ever since I got it, it was kind of hard to slide up the screen, didn't think much of it though. About a week ago when I slid up the screen to send a text it popped out of place on one side and just dangled. I called Asurion and they said since it's physical damage, I have to pay the deductable again. I wouldn't have minded if it was more than a couple of weeks. I don't wanna do this if it's going to happen ever other week. My question is this, I've heard people getting Titans after working with them for a while. Is there anything you guys can tell me to help me out? If I'm paying for a new phone I'd rather get an upgrade. Thanks.

Re: How to work Insurance?

I would suggest taking it to a Sprint store instead of calling Asurion. I never called Asurion and always got my phone replaced with no deductables and no problems

Re: How to work Insurance?

I have VZW also and I had my original 6700 which worked fine except I missed calls when on vibe because (unknowingly for a while) the vibe wouldnt vibe. I could bump the phone and then it would work. Eventually it got so bad I called and filed a claim and got a new one. Well a few weeks later it did the same. I was already over on my 14 day return so I called and after explaining, they were nice enough to send another. Well after a few weeks of so with it, it also did the same thing. So I called up and explained what the issue was. She apologized and was going to send another unit until I told her this was the 3rd phone and they all did the same thing. Then is where the corner was turned because she then offered me 2 comparable phones. One was the Treo 600 I think and the other was the 6800. Obviously since I am here I choose the 6800.

So call in and do some explaining and complaining and ask for a comparable phone because all that you have had were not suitable or worth having in a everyday functional world.
