kk lets play nice haha.
-anyways, CHESS is functioning and you dont need a key, if you do, you prolly did something horribly wrong.
-The Wireless today plugin is glitched. It updates the status, but clicking on it does nothing.... could be a blessing in disguise but defenitely not working in regards to taps. Bizzare, ill flash the kitchen r4 on my phone and see if its broken in there to.
-in regards to the battery... what programs do you have running, which rom are you running, what else have you installed since you flashed. Do you sync to an exchange server, did you leave IM+ on all day or logon to irc.....
-the full o2 suite needs registering if i remember correctly and i didnt see much need for the rest of the suite. Personally i hate todayscreen items. right now i have phonealarm and calendar and thats it.... granted i wish the start menu held just ONE more icon space, or wish there was a hack to disable recent and use up all my space for myself, but my understanding is that hack isnt out yet.
keep in mind the kitchen is available if you would like to add it yourself.
-when you drop vision and it asks for the password just hit save and hit OK, you dont need to put anything in. Thats completely normal functionality of the handset.
-if your earpiece isnt working, time for a new phone, or at least a new speaker. nothing in the rom effects that. The BETA 1.6 version of phonealarm allows all calls to default to speakerphone so you may wanna do that and just talk backwards.... thats what i do, the earpiece is so freakin i cant hear shizzlez on it.
-The bluetooth dropping incoming calls is your headset dude. I tested that today at work with like 6 models and it didnt do that with any of them, buy a new one or get yours exchanged where you bought it.
-Garov55 no offense bro, just saw an opportunity for my funny ban-saw story, you shoulda seen the stories for that question in the 9.6 thread haha. Appreciate you trying to help, sometimes just gotta help yourself first y'know. Thanks for trying my ROM however, The LCD being shut off effects the vibrate function for reasons unknown even to microsoft mobile dev team. (well thats what their blog says anyways....) but having it off gives you roughly 7-9 more hours of standby time, in my opinion its worth the trade-off thats why i have it disabled by default. 90% of the people I have talked to have never put their handset on vibrate anyways, and its a weak vibrate at that. Figured the trade-0ff was there to just have it shut down with instructions on re-enabling it.
-leaving a threaded conversation open will not make an alert. This was a known issue when development of the hack stopped. Just something were gonna have to live with untill someone picks up the development of that application again and is willing to host the work on piratebay or something haha.
-think thats everything, im gonna go ahead and pull those extra vz steps for the dial connection, i had a feeling they werent needed... may just be needed in special situations, but its in the thread on the first page (7) of the topic for this release.
Thanks again guys for your support and helping me create up a bug list for the next release.
