I just installed this on my veriziphone, my first ROM flash... this is great! You fixed everything I didn't like about the phone, as well as things I didn't even know I didn't like yet...
Thanks! The Chrono Trigger theme is beautiful too! |

Also having an issue I can't find any information about, but it might be verizon in my area:
Now when I try to connect to the verizon data network with my phone (1X) I'm always getting this message: "Network Error - Please wait a moment and try again". This has been happening all morning so I'm beginning to wonder if I've missed a configuration setting or something. I've used both MYNUMBER@vzw3gDOTcom with a pass of vzw, and I've also used VZW with a pass of verizon, both have the same issue... I had to use DOT instead of the dot because the forums think I'm a spammer. |

Ok. I updated my phone to 1.1r Verizon version. Everything seems to be working well.
For those that have Verizon and have been having trouble with MMS, I think I figured out the fix. On mine I checked the dial-up settings and changed the DNS servers to "Obtain IP Address". As soon as I did that, it worked perfect for me. If anyone else can confirm this, J can fix it in the next ROM. A lot of the guys that have been flashing for a while probably know this, but if you change the name in "Owner Information" you need generate new keys for the programs/games that need to be registered or buy the programs. Hope this helps out. I like the Chrono Trigger theme also. Have any plans to do Chrono Cross? I loved that game! I have installed the following so far without issues: SPB Phone Suite 1.0.0 Build 1179 SPB Diary 2.5.0 Build 3277 PDA Net 1.72 Pocket Controller Professional 5.07 Build 950 Today Screen: SPB Phone Suite SPB Diary Weatherpanel LVM Time

regarding all the phone as modem stuff and internet sharing, it works. It works fine, it works the way its supposed to. There are a few issues that are traced back to the kitchen and both in this thread (top of page 11) and in the r4 bugs thread there are instructions for a work-around. If, for some reason you are unable to get either of them working the way they are supposed to, you can install an application called PDAnet. The public version works fine and i believe is on r1.73 and there is a private beta that works with wm6 and vista r1.80 posted to the boards in the titan applications thread.
+++++++++++++++++ about the vision issues (wait a moment and connect again). This is a carrier network error. If you want to verify, re-install the latest ROM from verizon and see if the issue persists. If it does NOT, then download the generic ROM and install it, then let your carriers customizations run. That way, any discrepancy between my vzOEM and the actual carrier packages is negated. Keep me posted. You may want to also DELETE the connection I have in there for #777 and re-create it from scratch Remove the network connection so there are NO connections Soft Reset the device Recreate the connection Test Quote:

Thanks for the info. I think i fixed the issue with the #777 not working and it was unrelated to anything else. I'll keep trying the internet sharing util and see if the pda thing will work for me. Thanks again for all your help!

I have been trying to compile a net rom for my 6700 using the latest bigj kitchen and keep running into errors. I have tried configuring it half a dozen ways and cannot get it to finish like hemli's or bigj r3. Each time it gets to a certain point, and BuildImgfs.exe crashes each time.
Createrom.bat capture: Processing "WM5torage.exe" as file Processing "WM6-RDP.lnk" as file Processing "wmadecoder.dll" as module Processing "wmcore.dll" as module <------- BuildImgfs.exe error occurs here Searching for IMGFS start... Found at 00640000 Fixing... Done! 1st - Grab the nb.nba file from the /TEMP/ directory and move it into @---BigJ's _reloaded_ROM 2nd - Convert the patched NBA file to nbf using Bigj.prj and flash!!! -------------- !!!HOORAY!!!! -------------- Press any key to continue . . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am pretty sure I run buildos.exe with all of the right options, and have tried several combinations. Has this happened to anyone else? |
