************************************************ There's a tutorial for Stuck In bootloader somewhere... please search... For thoose who stuck in bootloader this is how to unstuck: 1. Get Mtty here: http://rapidshare.com/files/28321691/mtty1.42.zip.html 2. Right Click Activesync icon in tray, and select connection setting, then un-mark Allow USB connections at Activesync Connection settings. 3. Extract the zip file and Run mtty.exe and select USB from the Port dropdows list and then click OK button. 4. press Enter two times for showin USB> 5. Type: set 14 0 [ENTER] task 8 [ENTER] (for soft-reset). 6. Ur device should reset and u might close mtty utility. 7. Done. ur device should be just fine... if not try to re-flash the OS again while in Bootloader (press and hold POWER+RECORD button then press RESET) re-enable/re-mark Activesync after this proccess might necesarry, to allow USB Connection again for enablin Activesync ur pda with ur PC.

Re: 6700 help
I tried both programs but both don't see the usb. I did follow everything to a T after my first mistake. I read the post and ALL the replies about 2.05 bootloader but I didn't find a fix for my issue. Thank again
EDIT: I forgot to add my OS on my desktop is xp64 and the OS on my laptop is XP pro. I've tried both PCs with the same outcome. Last edited by carguy; 12-11-2008 at 02:01 PM. |

Re: 6700 help
I had the same issue, try running the newest OEM rom, I tried 3 older roms to no avail but the 6.1 rom worked without a hitch... Hope it works for you
