Help with USB Connection to Laptop
Everything used to work just fine up until yesterday, but anyways:
When I plug my 6700 into my laptop via USB the laptop won't reconize it at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled active sync, rebooted my computer and ppc several times, tried a different USB port and still no luck. The phone still charges just fine while connected, but it's just that the computer won't even bother reconzinging it at all. Any ideas? I'm running XP sp2 on my laptop.

Sounds like you need a hard reset. Seems to be the only thing you didn't try.

Yeah I was kind of holding off of doing a hard reset as that is my last option, and also my contacts aren't synched to the laptop currently.

You can use a utility like SPB backup of PIM Backup on XDA to backup the contacts, or just copy the PIM.vol file to your storage card and copy it over after you hard reset.
