All I can say now is make a rom from the new kitchen, the A2DP works flawless.

I agree. My Headset had been collecting dust for quite some time. After reading the success others were having I dug em out and within minutes they were rocking and rolling perfectly. Other than the wifi issue it is a perfect combo.

I have mine working great with the stock verizon phone and the tornado package. The only thing that annoys me is that after enabling all the features of my headset, all sounds go through it when it is turned on. So if my pone rings, the ringer is in the earpiece. So I cannot just have my BT earpiece in my front pocket turned on waiting for a call. I tried unchecking the a2dp features in the BT control panel, but everything is still active. So basically, if my ear-bud is on, all sound goes through it all the time. The play/pause stuff works too though...

Are you able to turn off the a2dp with the new kitchen ROM on demand?

I am using the Jabra 8010 with additional earpiece for stereo mode..

the newewst kitchen, Helmi Official AKU 3.5 Kitchen, Release 1.0.3 (upd. 7/30/07), has updated drivers from HTC for the bluetooth hardware and offers the best sound while retaining the remote control buttons utility in full. its the best option going right now IMHO. might want to wait for 1.04. or use 1,02 (read the bug thread).

as for your question, this was my very first thread in this forum and i did not yet understand how all this rom cooking worked. the topic is what motivated me to learn though and now i am hooked on this site. most if not all the custom roms offered are made from one version of tthe kitchen or another. i suppose it would be possible for an advanced user (not me) to somehow just create and install a cab or oem with just the latest MS bluetooth stack but this doesn't seem to have happened yet. I know the broadcom stack is out there and can be installed without flashing a rom but i have not tried it.

I am currenty using my own rom from the 3.5 helmi 1.02 and when i am listening to music and a call comes in, the music shuts off and the phone rings from the phone, not the earpiece. when i hang up music comes back on. i dont wear the headphones unless i am listening to music so i am not sure but phone probably rings the same way with no music on.
