I'm gonna make a guess here and I'm sure I'll be corrected by the pros if I'm off~ DeviceLock shouldn't be removed, just deactivated. Further, I believe that OnLock still needs DeviceLock to actually do it's thing. OnLock is just a more customizable GUI that uses the OEM lock to lock the phone.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. When I said "DeviceLock", I meant the .cab plugin that I downloaded from PPCG here... not the OEM function that's part of Windows M5. Also, I finally figured it out. There's two versions of DeviceLock... one is just the executable and one has a control panel applet.. I reinstalled, soft-reset, unchecked all the options, reset, removed, reset and then, finally, it was gone. |
