I have a stereo AD2P BT headset, the Abe BT 55F (no built-in mic - speakers only) that pairs sucsessfully, but I get no audio. All audio still comes out phone's speakerphone.
Abe BT 55F Specs here: http://www.abe-hk.com/english/products/8044/8044.htm The specs say it supports AD2P stereo, but can't seem to get an audio to play on the headset after successfully pairing it with my XV6700 running a PPCGeeks WM6.1 ROM. I cooked in acbToggleBT 0.8 (Description: Toggles the audio gateway) thinking that might enable the audio. But I'm thinking this might be for mono BT headsets. I thought AD2P headsets worked pretty seamlessly on WM6.1? I then tried BTAwm6.cab, another BT audio gateway program, but that didn't work either. I did previously get my now lost "mono" Jawbone to work using BTAwm6.cab, but that was several cooked ROMs ago, so who knows if it would work now. Anyway, any suggestions? Maybe I'm just not understanding how to toggle between the phone's speakerphone and the BT headset? I know for some mono headsets, you had to first activate a Voice Command by pressing the headset button. Not sure if that applies to stereo headsets with no microphone - thus no Voice Command capability. Last edited by voipster; 11-24-2008 at 05:33 PM. |
