See the EDIT to the 1st post

So you have to be able to work with a kitchen file and no we cant use this fix without reflashing? Is there a way for us folks to do this without reflashing or rebuilding a rom? Can the changes be done manually without the need for all that?
as stated in colonels reply, i am working on a CAB file you guys can install so you dont need to reflash, but i need time to test it. All of my test materials (phone, BT laptop, BT headsets) are all at work, and i took a few days off for finals. I will edit and add the cab file to the 1st post when its ready. In the meantime sit tight,

in regards to updating the kitchen, that is not my department, keep in mind however, with Helmi_c hard at work on a new kitchen for us, updating it may be a mute point, and anyone cooking a ROM has the knowledge to just patch it up.

+++++

widcomm is like 8 megs and seems to be "glitchy" since its hacked in. It does sound phenomenal though ><

So far so good - I haven't had any BT issues since I added this to my kitchen yesterday. I used to have issues when I would leave my headset in the car and bring the phone into a building. When I would return my phone and my headset wouldn't link until I reset the phone or turned the BT on and off a few times.

I tested it a few times today and every time the phone and my headset were back in range they work just fine.

Thanks again.... this will be a permanent addition to my ROM.

I had a problem using the unified kitchen where if I turned off bluetooth I could not get it to turn back on unless I reboot the device. I have made your changes and now it works great.

Thanks J

JBabey,

I'm debating about flashing my device just for this fix as my BT drops on a regular basis and I have to reset my device. Do you think I should go for it or do you think you'll be doing any more tweaking?

Thanks

These files should be considered in their final state. I did extensive testing to ensure stability and to release something I would not have to update.

Can someone please explain to me how to install these files. All of the files that need to be deleted are located in my windows folder. It says in the first post that the zipped files need to be installed in the proper directory.

I can not find the directories that are listed in the first post....should I simply copy all of the files to my windows directory?

They replace the files in the UNIFIED ROM KITCHEN r1.0.0 - these files are used when "cooking" your own ROM, not as a replacement to your existing flash, sorry.
