Re: Theoretical #777 No-Data Question
If you delete that connection or don't let it install while hard reset then it can't connect. Thus no need for a block. If you want to ditch the data package but recieve MMS and you have an MMS plan I have a useful little trick to only allow MMS to connect to data line so you won't get any charges. Another cool thing about it is you don't gota turn off WiFi to do an MMS. You can find that here.

Re: Theoretical #777 No-Data Question
Thanks for the reply, Aaron.
So once I perform that hack I can send/receive MMS, but the phone will not connect to the internet if I open a browser or Google Maps? Also, if I am connected to the net via wifi (w/ phone enabled) I can connect to the internet and be certain the data is processed through wi-fi not verizon? And thumbs up on your iPhone theme; I bought it a few days ago and don't regret it! |

Re: Theoretical #777 No-Data Question
Ah Matthew, it's you. Thank you for the complement. That is correct. You will need to make sure that you have Picture Messaging enabled on your account. After you do the hack it should work like a charm. Enjoy and thank ya.

I followed your step by step for the Motorola Q phone I just purchased from Verizon. I got to Step 2 but could not find 'Archsoft' after navigating to HKLM >Software>... can you help? |

Re: Theoretical #777 No-Data Question
I don't think the Q uses Arcsoft for MMS. I am not sure though. I have a friend with the Q. If I can borrow it from him I will come up with a fix for that too...
