OK, so I have the specified ROM on and I did a hard reset, then a soft reset before the 3 seconds. Now how do I Ulock the ROM to install the necessary Sprint files to get online? I tried letting it get thru and It still showed an IMSI number, so the trick is to pick the right cab files to install.

so what do we sprint users need to do to get this working? if i flash with the C&S ROM noted above, can I let all of the required and optional cabs install from my extrom?

No, taht didn't work. I did it and it showed the ESN still as a GSM number. We need CaptainJager to shed some more light into this and we should be home free. BTW, this unified ROM looks really nice - I can't wait!

Well I had to hard reset after awhile Good software reported that my handset was not enabled. Might have been other software causing problems so I am going to reinstall and double check everything. will let you know approx 8 pm central time.

DmackDaddy, I need new email and password it will not accept the one you had given me previously. So meanwhile I will look into what the files for sprint are.

Ok this time I did not receive any errors on install and bam it is up and running. Now to see if it crashes and to figure out what sprint files you guys need. Or to put it what you dont need.

Ok Try this and let me know if this works
Reflash with Kirvins 3.5 Clean and Simple GENERICHard reset then when the 3 seconds message comes up soft reset once it has rebooted Install the PPCGeeks Apache Extended ROM Unlocker (which will unhide the ext rom), then install the other unlocker thats a .exe, (must be run from the ppc and not ur pc, this unlocks the ROM & Soft Reset. Then go to file explorer and find extended rom folder on your ppc and install these cabs IOTA.sa.CAB, PP_IOTA_v1_10_Apache_206300.sa.CAB, Cert_SPCS.CAB, Cert_SPCS.sa.CAB, Customize_SPCS.sa.CAB then soft reset. then try to load the Good software and run the OTAInstaller and set it up. Do not put phone in cradle let the software use your phones data connection to D/L. Not sure if this is going to work but see if this gets you past the esn problem. |
