I messed with it and tried Kirvins ROM and it works fine. I will mess with this weekend some more and see if I figure it out. It happened on your and Big J's so you are probably right that another app is changing it back. Thanks for help though.

Colonel,

Can you extract the .cab files from the Bell Mobility ROM .exe file?

You can get the ROM here:

www .bell.ca/media/en/all_regions/wireless/APAC_BM_21120.exe

The ExtRom cabs? The easiest thing to do is to just unhide your ExtRom on your phone and copy the cabs to your SD. If you are running a later version of my rom, it should unhide the ExtRom for you.

you have a ROM dated 6-5-07, I cant get it to load. I go to the ROM update utility and hit "update". But it goes straight to "finished". I have my phone in bootloader and it show "USB" on the screen.
Any suggestions?

First, if you are refering to the nk.nbf, it is for Sprint. Now, you can probably flash with a standard installer or NoID. With the NoID installer you need bootloader, but with a normal one, you dont. Anyway, jump in the chat room and we cna look at the issue.

i updated to the sprint version today and really like the look of it
i chose transcriber as my input method when rebooting and now am trying to go back to keyboard but for some reason it never accepts that option after i press ok
the transcriber remains the method of input
any ideas why?
