Larger resolution

I have been searching high and low for a larger resolution for my apache. I have tried realvga but it does not work just as I expected! Is there anything out there that would work on the apache.

Re: Larger resolution

Hook it up to your computer monitor? The display that is in the phone can't handle anything besides 320x240 or 240x320, depending on the orientation. The only thing you can do is lower it, though I'd have no idea how or why you would want to do that. The resolution is what it is, and unless you change the lcd display with something better, I doubt it's going to change

Re: Larger resolution

There has to be a way to do it through software to make it like 42dpi or something that is what realvga does so i think it might be possible on the apache.

Re: Larger resolution

I don't think it's the software. It's the actual LCd, as imnuts mentioned.

Re: Larger resolution

I guess you could change the DPI settings to make it appear to have a higher/lower resolution, but the lcd in the phone won't display anything better than 240x320 or 320x240 (depending on orientation)
