SPRINT ONLY!!!
SPRINT ONLY!!!
SPRINT ONLY!!!

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....700_AKU3.5.rar

A few people have been asking me for something like this so here ya go. Its r1.6u. but completely stripped of every retail application, not themed and not wm6 theme.

basicly its a flash that looks nearly identical to stock and has no retail applications

This is a FULL flash.... CE, RADIO, EXT.ROM

SPRINT ONLY!!!
SPRINT ONLY!!!
SPRINT ONLY!!!

I wont be supporting this, ive just had about 6 or so PM about a "Clean & Simple" and since I actually have one (i always keep a clean one as a control to troubleshoot retail bullsh!t) I may as well make it public.

REMOVED
chess, cribbage, digdug, dopewars, galaga, mappy, memmaid, threaded txt, pie+, resco, msvc, yhatzee, wm6 theme, customized splash/wallpaper, ppcname, phonealarm,

ADDED
total commander, phm regedit (as substitutes for resco), LED also on by default

if enough people care, ill do one that isnt sprint only, but PM me, dont post here asking. Thanks!

YOU PEOPLE ROCK!!!
You were able to get hamachi to run on the PPC6700? Is there a client available somewhere for our platform?

sorta. i have had problems before using my phone as a modem for my laptop. then using vnc through hamchi. only one pc on my home network can be accessed from outside. i sometimes have my primary wrkstation start other resource intensive stuff (downloads, file conversions...) on one of the extra boxes on it's lan...also using vnc to my wrkstation at home i can get to other client's pcs that i don't trust to keep fulltime on my laptop. with the extra bt features it is now easy to do this anywhere/anytime...i (also keep a power converter in my car)
as far as logmein/hamachi i have played with these trying everywich way i could of think of to use them efficiantley.i have come to the conclusion that the ctrix client, gotomypc, although is not free, is byfar the best choice. it has allowed me to use just a few tools to completely manage a hobby into a small business from any coffee house i chose weather or not they provide wifi.
gotomypc will provide a secure and respected/well knowen rdc connection that most all network admins are ok allowing through their firewall.
i am out of ideas on new ways to get one pc to run an other...and would love a challenge...
except that the logmein client for the ppc just doesn't want to work...
after loading the ctrl.dll and loging in. the script that tells the browser how to start the rdpclient (???i assume defined with the dll???) just doesn't work. if a person knew how to capture the commands given after loging in(??possibly port sniffing run through a vutural machine ppc shell??) could determine what is being asked for. i really think this script should be too hard to follow it has to be based on something simular to the open source scripted vnc apps, and could be compared to them. i just don't know where to start yet. until just a couple years ago all i ever touched were non networked PCs. i think the problem i am having is that i don't know the right subjects to ask about.
long storie short 500 dollar phone, 100 dollar a month service, drop 50 dollars a month for gotomypc and you and a friend get complete access to everything regardless of what os/platform they are using from anywhere.
to tell the truth if i could just rap my thick head arround terminal service clients, port fowording and cisco firewalls, oh and setting up a personal ftp/websight only hosted on my desktop...my life would be simple. and i wouldn't have to pay citrix for what i know is possible with out them.
any questions i would be happy to help with whatever is throwen my way

ok i just seen this....
"This sounds like a user-agent issue. The browser is sending an incorrect string to the site that is why its redirecting you. You can use PIE+ to change the agent string that you send, replace your DLL file with that found in the user-agent thread (or PM me and ill send you one), or edit your registry to a portable phone string and reload the page.

I put back in the profile program in anticipation of removing PA, weaver seems to be exceptionally stable with profile management. "

hu?how what do you mean?

Not that I'm interested in using a Stripped down version of an Aston Martin
, but is there a chance this will be released for the "All others" or "Generic". I'm on Verizon and would like to store something like this locally for testing and just because it would be cool to hold on to.

JBabey,

The scroll function in PIE+ doesnt seem to work. Eventhough "scroll page with D-pad " is checked, it still scrolls by link. Could i get PIE to scroll by page thru a registry edit? Thanks!

well call me spoiled, but seeing that "FINAL" stamp on this thread kills me... I liked the: Flash, test, flash test routine I had going
Just gotta say, can't wait to get back into it.

The Final ROM is very nice and stable, I don't use PA or PW but instead am using SPB Phone suite and I must say (JB is cringing) I like it.

Thx for all the ROM's!

Tin

BigJ, Thanks for all the cool stuff. I am up on 1.6u now and liking it a lot. I am sorry to say that I still dont have any joy with BT PAN or WModem BT. Neither of my laptops can discover the 6700 BT PAN. I am using Sprint if that makes a difference.

I dont use PA or PW however I do use PIE+ and I like the scrolling by just dragging the stylus (or finger) and fit to page it provides. If you remove it, please provide the Cab for easy install.

I am struggling to find a VOIP client that will work with Broadvoice. I almost have SJPhone working (finally got it to register but now it cant resolve callee's address). I will keep you posted

Thanks again for the great work. Can hardly wait to flash again.
