I've uploaded some more OEMs:
Yuma_BTAudioToggle_OEM Yuma_Checkers_OEM Yuma_iLauncher2307_OEM Yuma_pPod_OEM Yuma_RefreshToday_OEM Yuma_Reset_OEM Yuma_Reversi_OEM Yuma_SIPchange_OEM Yuma_SiriusWM5_OEM Yuma_TRE_OEM Yuma_WA2_OEM All RAR'd to prevent binary/ANSI problems. WA2 and iLauncher have Readme.txt's that you will want to check out. I had to move the meters and themes out to /My Documents/ cuz OEM's don't like subfolders.

b183f2a7-06c3-4f27-9679-7baf97e94efa.rgu
is the location of the user agent string for PIE, some still guess the browser.dll file needs updating as well, but many are having luck by modifying their user agent and platform string to resolve the picturemail issue. hope this helps

Because I've never been able to get my extrom to stay cleared out, I unlock it and delete the sprint files and put my files in there and it looks fine, but later in the day my stuff will be gone and all the sprint files are back in the extrom. It sure would be nice if that space could be re-assigned to the main storage partition, screw the carrier customizations I never use any of those files anyway.

Success with my first Custom Rom on my Telus 6700
I just wanted to add my thanks to the hard work on this kitchen. Just one month ago, I was a complete noob and didn't know what these ROMs were, let alone how to use a kitchen. But in a month of mostly lurking, I have learned a lot. I started with flashing Wideawake's 2.2 then the Kitchen Project ROM. I kept thinking I should just wait for the Kitchen application before going any further.
Well, that was last week. I decided to give it a try. I made no fewer than 6 builds of my own custom ROM (using the OEMs from the FTP site.) Each build had one incremental step--an OEM added or unwanted one deleted. But it wasn't until tonight until I actually tried to flash any of them. I started with the stock Kitchen--and that went so well, I jumped straight to my last build. And so far, it is working great! The next step will be learning to make some OEMs of my own. I suspect that will take me awhile. Thanks again for bringing new life into my 6700. I don't have to be jealous of the other Telus users upgrading to the 6800! |
