It's been asked before (search for it) and if I remember correctly it's not doable. Can't remember exactly why but someone linked a page which explained why in great detail.

I've hooked up my 6700 to my laptop and set up the WiFi on the laptop as an access point and it worked just fine, both under Vista and XP. I found the easiest thing to do is just used the ICS wizard, and know which connection is your sprint one, and which is your WiFi card. I didn't test the range of my wifi card, but i imagine if you set it up with either a: a powerful wifi card as the access point, or b: run ICS over the ethernet and connect that directly to a wireless router it'd work beautifully.

The point is, there are ways to do to this.

I tether my ppc to pc and internet shared the connection between x360 and pc. played XBLA games with no lag hosting either. also up to 24 players in COD3 with no lag. (best online code I tried) while R6vegas could not play one game.

all this with no more than 2 evdo bars, mostly one bar.

but I am curious about having ppc as access point, and sharing through usb. I know ppc can be access point and share wirelessly, it has been done before.
