Display SD Card as Local Storage

Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of a hack/program that can show a storage card a part of the local storage.
Thanks for the site, It's competely changed the value of my 67Hundred!

Re: Display SD Card as Local Storage

What are you trying to accomplish besides being visually pacified? The SD will not act or have the respose time as the local storage does.

Re: Display SD Card as Local Storage

Besides being - as you say - visually pacified, I would like to do this because a music service I use doesn't work well with external storage. By having my SD appear as local, I'm hoping to cut down on synching and DRM issues.
Thanks for you time.

Re: Display SD Card as Local Storage

Nothing you can do about DRM besides get DRM free music, as for synching (through WMP I assume) there are tweaks you can do to speed up the response and lessen the latency of the card. You can use an app called Pocket Mechanic to benchmark as well as defrag the card. Go get it and do a benchmark and try comparing your tests to these shots of my old 67 with tweaks applied on a 2gb Kingston card. There used to be a cab file floating around that was from Great Nate which had all the reg edits in it to tweak the card reader. Look around and see if you can find it
