FpseCE or other emulators? Anyone use one?

My hubby has a nintendo emulator on his phone and plays tons of games. I was looking at the playstation emulator. I have NO clue how to install it or anything.

I found this: http://pdai.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9121

BIOS etc. makes NO sense to me :P

Who uses an emulator and what games do really well?

i ran a SNES emulator for a little while but it was kinda slow. I also had a problem in FFVI when it would crash and not let me past a certain point in the game.

PocketSNES crashes on me when I attempt to flip the screen to the right so I can use my 6700's keyboard.

FpseCE hardly runs on the 6700. The BIOS is required if you want the best compatibility with newer psx games however obtaining one is outside the scope (and legality) of this messageboard. Maybe using XCPUScalar and bumping up to 520mhz or even higher might make it work but you run the risk of having a very unstable ppc.

The BIOS that FpseCE wants is a Playststion BIOS which belongs to Sony. Mind you google is your best friend.

It's copywritten material

As for the orignal poster's question, I use Morphgear. It emulates old 8 and 16-bit consoles, so most games play nice and smooth
