Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Out of the three different 6.1 builds available in the kitchen I tried, the newest with the services patch is definitely the best performing with these manila files. I am finding that it just needs more memory to run & soft resets are necessary...

EDIT:
I am re-evaluating the three to see which Build runs best with only 6-7meg free Program mem because that's what manila eats up for me.

I am only cooking manila and manila fix into the rom, so that addon cabs can be compared after the rom builds....

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Yes I dont recommend cooking with all addons or required programs yet as I have seen it saying cannot run due to low memory, and I akso see opera as a huge install hog for th e rom...

EDIT: adobe reader handles larger files, but is also a larger install than pocketXpdf...

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

I recommend to add the addons on extended rom (opera, audio manager, google maps, audio booster, volume plugins). I manage to have office, tcpmp, htc album,manila2d,PIMBackup,VJcandela to fit in a cook rom.

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

yes and I noticed the kitchen manila files had the "ManilaCompatibleSharedDLL" files aleady added into it and ran as good as ver 08 manila.
Some grafics were missing such as the envelope for messages/text.

I am going to compare to latest version manila as soon as I figure out best OSbuild and pagepool settings...

Using the lastest album, album video, audio manager and opera files works best for me.

Even though I am using kitchen version manila2D files.. I had to edit it, to not include kitchen album files..
I made new oem, but you could just as easily edit XML & delete the three folder "elements" that are named "require" so it doesn't automatically load the kitchen OEMs : album, audio manager & google maps into rom...
Google maps is same but album & audio manager are older.

If you dont have an XML editor, google free prog "MindFusion XML Viewer"
