Re: 2D manilla on apache?
are you copying the folder into the folder and not just the files?
|
Re: 2D manilla on apache?
yes. i unzip it and take the folder and copy it into the user oem folder. i have only the four folders in it. the three additional sounds, themes, ringtones, and the manilla folder....

make shure updater has updated all apache and ppckitchenOEM files. If you have experimented and poked around files, uninstall and start fresh the whole kitchen, or files that have been tampered may be manually downloaded, but I would just reinstall all. try cooking rom 20755, forget newer builds for now. try cooking without any addons selected. then add one at a time in each successful build you WILL find your problem thru order and perseverence,, not guesswork. Good luck! |
Re: 2D manilla on apache?
ok i found the problem, and i think it may just have been the fact i have vista... When i paste in th oem folder i noticed when i go back in it wasnt there until i clicked compatibility files at the top of the page. What it was doing was automatically moving the file to another folder called "ppckitchen_user_oem". I had to re-copy it from thst folder and place it in the real user_oem folder. So confusing but i got it working.
Thanks to all for the help... |
Re: 2D manilla on apache?

Re: 2D manilla on apache?
I am so happy! Thanks to Max134 and two months of searching I have completed my build of Manila 2D for the Apache!! I can pull any weather and it runs very smooth and the best part is I have found no bugs yet. I even have 20.12 MB of program memory also! Now to find a theme I like!! Anyone interested in the build?
Update: It is in OEM format so a new rom will have to be cooked. Only way to maintain storage memory. |

Here is the OEM zip just put the ManilaBlueDiamond2D folder in this zip file into your User OEM folder in your PPCkitchen folder and when you burn the new rom select ONLY the Manila Blue Diamond 2D in the Today screen plugins selections.
See Max134's post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=181 for additional info. This is mainly thanks to Max134! He is the one that created this OEM I have just hex edited the files to update the weather link. You will have to update the HH_0409_Weathercities.xml and add your city most US cities zip codes will work otherwise use the full locCode. Example: Code:
<city name="Saint George, US" loca="NAM|US|UT|SAINT GEORGE" land="United States "/> Code:
<city name="Saint George, US" loca="84790" land="United States "/> Good Luck! |

Re: 2D manilla on apache?
guys...........i'm new here and i want to know if this work on my apache wm5? thanks
sorry for my english.......... |
Re: 2D manilla on apache?
Not sure if you've caught on since you're new, but using M2D requires you to install it in one of the latest kitchens, which is only WM6.1. Your Apache CAN be flashed to 6.1, which you can learn about in this forum.

Re: 2D manilla on apache?
