I had the Slingbox and took it back... First the fact that you have to buy the PPC viewing software is an absolute joke!

Second, I noticed some weird lag on my network and set a sniffer free... I found that damn Slingbox was running port scans on my network! After doing some digging on the internet, I found that was fairly common!!

There is NO reason for ANY device to ever run port scans on our network, that thing is dangerous as far as I'm concerned...

ok well tell me how far you have gotten.

all you have to do is install orb on you pc and then log into myorb [dot] orb [dot] (still can't post urls lol ) com from you ppc

its also best if you do the hack to set tcpmp as your default media player because i don't think wmp will play the kind of files orb serves.

and you need a pretty good upload speed for it to work well...

Ok. sorry you feel that way. I use it on my ppc, my mac and my pc... best tech device I have ever purchased for travelling honestly. No Port Scans here, and no lag. I even use it to watch games on my deck on my macbook pro. Personally, I disagree. I love it. Sorry you don't feel the same. To each his own.

Oh, sorry about the response time. Yeah, Touche'=JiNX. I had forgotten that I had a profile on here. My Bad..

I have to admit, I have NO CLUE AT ALL on how to use Ord. Like, I have an account, or whatever, but it just keeps saying that my PC isn't connected to the server. Plus, it's not giving me anything to put on my PPC?
