Guys, don't wait for the kitchen! This ROM is superb--just do it. Looks like the kitchen is a ways off from following the thread. Anybody who's not sure, just do it the way I wrote above and you'll have no problems.

I haven't had a single issue with this ROM--I can't overstate what a great job the team has done here.

I'm waiting for the kitchen due to the large number of customizations, personalizations and OEM's I cook into the ROM via the kitchen. I'm sure the ROM is great, but I can't do with it what I do with a kitchen.

Are you the Todd from Indy who posted in the BMW Z3 forums?

This rom is being running great for my vx6700, the only problem that i found is that the battery's icon in the phonepad shows charging when the battery is over 80 percent charge. another problem is that the phone application doesn't close automatic if you are not using the phone like it used to happen with the other AKU.

Is anyone having this problem or It is just me?

Is there anything different/better here than the other 3.5's that have been out for a while?

Nope, I don't have a Z3 (wish I did).

Haven't seen any battery meter issues at all. The icon behaves fine at 80%-plus power and while on charge.

Hmm... yeah I see what you mean about the battery meter on the phone skin. Good eye.

As for the phone app closing I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. Did you mean the today timeout, where after a certain amount of inactivity your today screen will come up? That is set in settings->today->items tab and the value is at the bottom of the screen. The default is 4 hours.

If you're talking about something else please elaborate. Thanks!

Sorting Tasks

I can not sort filtered tasks using any of the new ROMs. I keep a lot of tasks and use categories to filter them. If I filter to a specific category, I can no longer sort the tasks by priority. The filter works, but the sort does not and the tasks appear in a random order.

Thanks Luv2chill for your reply.

As for the Phone app closing No I didn't mean that. In AKU 3.3 and lower when the phone application is not use for like a minute it will close by itself. In this rom you have to close it or otherwise it will stay open for ever even if you hit the power button on/off something that didn't happen with the prior roms.

Thanks. Can anyone else confirm this? Please post whether this works or not and what ROM version you are using. Thanks.

I can confirm this behavior in <=3.3.
