Doesn't matter how long I wait. Bluetooth doesn't come on if I try to turn it on again. I still have to reset it.

OK, hopefully some other people can try this and corroborate. What apps (if any) do you have installed that involve bluetooth?

luv2chill, I've seen that BT toggle issue a couple times, too. I was blaming GpsGate, but I've confirmed it's not a factor. Minor annoyance.

I just did a fresh install, and the only apps that I use w/ Bluetooth are winmobileapps phone profile, Voice Command, and iGuidance. I am using my Samsung WEP200 bluetooth headset and a Holux GPSlim 256 bluetooth GPS unit.

You can find an installer for this (and other ROMs) in this thread...it worked fine for me.

I tried customizing this Rom using the sprint clean and simple installer, along with this thread:
http://ppcgeeks.com/how-to-remove-fa...hods-t360.html

on how to access the extended rom and reinstall 'junk' cabs so they can later be removed... however I am not seeing anything in the extended rom directory after unlocking it, and I am not getting the 3 sec countdown before extended rom kicks in, so I cannot use the hard reset method. Am I missing something?

Kirvin's 3.5 for Sprint comes with a blank extended ROM which you flashed to your phone when you used that installer. You will have to reflash the official Sprint extended ROM.

Did I screw up? Other questions, too.

I wished I wasn't so impatient and waited to read the replies before I attemped this... so this is where I'm at.

I downloaded the last ROM from sprints web site. Following tbhausen's post, I extracted it using WinRAR. I copied the new nk.nbf over and overwritten the original.

I ran the RomUpgradeUT.ext and the installation went smoothly. I got the apache boot screen, halted the auto configuration, and all looked good.

I installed Total commander and ran only the required CABS.

Everything seems to be functioning fine. I was able to reinstall all of my programs. I have only run into a couple of issues and I hope you all can help me.

1. Total Commander. I accessed /Extended_Rom/ and see the cab files there. There are some junk ones that I don't want so, through total commander, I deleted them. After a soft reset, they reappear in the Extended Rom? What's up with that?

2. I installed this ROM because an earlier post said that DUN via Bluetooth (or PAN) is working. I can't get it to work. I searched this forum and also PDAPhoneHome.Com, and can't find directions to do this.

Can someone point me to the right place, or better yet, post instructions on this topic.

I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
