Re: Alltel 6700 to Sprint flash?
The ESN is an Electronic Serial Number. Changing it is illegal. It's like switching VINs on cars. You don't do it, or at least don't get caught doing it. Check the sister forum, xda. They have some good info.
Dude, I seriously didn't mean to flame you. It really is a difficult procedure. It's not that I have little faith, it's that I know what it takes and it is extremely easy to ruin your phone doing it. It's not like ROMs, where if you mess up you can reflash and whatnot. If you mess up the clone, that's it. Toast. I wish it wasn't a restricted topic, because if I felt I could give a little more detail on the subject it would clarify why it isn't a task to take on lightly. |

You could be banned for this, but given that you are new and just not aware of what you are asking this can serve as a warning for you. Also... No one is flaming you for being new... It is just some things that sound simple are not simple and can end up in what we called a bricked phone. Which for you wouldn't be so bad since you don't need the phone... but most people are not given a 6700 to play around with. But remember... What you are wanting to attempt is illegal... So, please respect the site and do not bring it up here anymore. Thread closed.
