I haven't had poutlook load for like a year, I found nothing that it does or affects. You might wanna get rid of it (move it somewhere in case someone tells us some reason I don't know to use it.

Really glad to hear you're not lockin' it up anymaore too.

So, I decided to experiment with changing the order of startup. The default order (with just VC installed) is:

VC, wisbar, poutlook, cleartempexpress.

SKTools won't change the order for some reason. But I found that if I deleted all the startup links from windows/startup then manually replaced them in the order I wanted, that would change the startup order (as indicated in SKTools). Anyway, I changed the order to:

VC, poutlook, cleartemp, wisbar.

I tried this order because putting Mortbuttons between VC and wisbar had worked. I just now did 20 soft resets and not an single lockup. Before, with the original order, I was getting about 20 - 25% lockups. Anyway, it seems their frequency is much reduced.

bro4ever: I dhanged the font size and weight for the download. Take a look at the first post again and look for the Download the latest rom here... it shoudl stand out now and I believe be the first linl of the post.

nuguy: I thought about removing that link but was a little unsure as to what all it might do. I had it out in a personal rom for a time (and did not notice any issues) but did not want to force that one on everyone so just left it inplace. figure its got to do something..

dho97: the ppc6700 does not have the hardware to work with 802.11g so no hack will enable it. You can fake the system into thinking it can, but it will not be able to connect to a g AP.

Use the official release of the vzw rom, you can download it at verizon.

kwyatt: Are you in bootloader mode when you try to apply the offical vzw build? I would make sure to be in the boot loader as the installer should not be able to see the current build.

sprint 6800

Peace and Progress to everyone! I have a question, has anyone figured out how to program the original tytn ppc 6800 from htc.com the creator of this device and the 6700? sprint has altered the design from having a video phone to not having one and if im going to spend $6-$900 bucks on a communication device, I want the most for my money. I wonder what it would take to purchase the original device and then configure it to operate on the sprint network. Any information will be appreciated. thanks everyone.
