Here's what I've found out about the skipping: 1. (With BitPool = 48, which has been my "default" for a long time) WMP skips badly in the first 20 sec when I start play from the device. No Voice Command involved. (I saw no reason to experiment with VC and WMP since I've done that so many (many!) times in the past... lots of skipping!) 2. Mort does not skip (even with BitPool = 80) when I start play from the device OR when I start play with Voice Command by using #5 button. (In the latter case, the actual command is issued through the headset, it's just that I don't initiate VC with the headset button.) 3. On the other hand, if I initiate VC at the headset button and issue the command "play X", then there are always two short skips between 6 sec and 8 secs into play. I conclude that this skipping in Mort has a different cause from the skipping we hear in WMP. The skipping in Mort is a function of my headset VC activation button. In many other regards Mort is the perfect player. This skipping doesn't happen with TCPMP or PocketPlayer. Maybe it's related somehow to ACVR? Another problem (that might actually affect other people) is that I cannot get Mort to play pls streams from Orb. Mort opens, say it's connecting, it displays the song title, but then it stops. Mort also won't play asx streams from Orb. jendand |

Is rlToday a replacement for iLauncher? Would it work inside of or instead of something like PocketBreeze? Sounds interesting. |

I see that there are duplicate entries for alarms 1, 2, 3, etc. How do I set the second alarm 4 (echo) as my alarm? It shows up in my Windows directory but is not listed in my alarm options as a choice.

I've loaded it up and it looks great. Reader works fine so far so that's (for me) a great memory saver.
I'm having trouble getting data service though. I've only loaded the following from EXT Rom: Cert_SPCS.CAB Customize_SPCS.sa.CAB IOTA.sa.CAB Can anyone else with data service on Sprint confirm this was all they needed? It was working fine under PR5. |

Saridnour, I just did a hard reset and REinstall of pr6. The first thing I tried is the comm mgr and the problem remains. The soft keys keep the same label as the previous application ("New" and "Menu" if I access comm mgr directly from messaging, "Calendar" and "Contacts" if accessed directly from Today screen) and they don't respond in any way. Either from the touch screen OR the soft key.
If you'd like me to export my reg keys, you'll have to instruct me on how to do so... Just to elminate the option of a "bad install", I REdownloaded pr6 from the server, did a HARD reset, reinstalled pr6, another immediate HARD reset, did NOT install anything from my VZW ext ROM. -Alan Quote:

Saridnour, I am having the same issues with the Comm Manager. As other reported I went through the steps of installing the ROM and hard resetting. After going through the normal install steps and letting the No Junk customizations install I tried to access Comm Manager, as the others described it just displays the soft buttons from the last screen and they are unresponsive.
