From what you said here, I take it as if you feel it is in the ROM. Im sorry if you guys feel as if I am being an *** but Im not. I am merely being truthful and tellin you where I feel your issue is at. No one forces you to follow my thoughts however maybe you should spend some time reading my other 1000+ posts to see how much of an *** I really am.

With that being said, 21 posts later I still do not see it resolved. But please understand this, as i said before and this is the last time I am going to say it, originally the OP states "Recently upgraded to 6.1 and no problems except for one" and "As soon as I disconnect my call, the phone goes back to EV mode and I am unabable at that point to recieve calls at all".

So with you saying you "Recently upgraded to 6.1 and no problems except for one" and now you have this issue here is how I think because when I went to school the first thing they thought us to look for was recent changes and rule of isolation. So if you say you recently went to WM6 and started to get this issue than the first thing I think is it is something with WM6 because thats what you changed and now the results are these issues.

However, as i said before, I cant help but feel something is being left out of this whole story because something like this doesnt just happen on its own. You get in there and play with settings or registry values or something. A working phone with the correct ROM / PRL and settings that works just doesnt start locking in on EV and cannot S&R calls or texts. There is either a bug in the ROM or the provisioning of the device and thats the last time Im going to say it.

BTW Mikeklemz, Im gonna call you out and ask for an apology for the name you called me and me being correct from the start.

Thats fine because I never said you did. You need to go back and re-read the posts. Mikeklemz was name calling. And while we are here lemme inform you I earned a dual major Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from DeVry and GA Tech. I work for Proctor & Gamble doing Risk Management Assessment and Process Safety in the Engineering Dept. I have 2 houses, a 1970 Cutlass with a 455, a 1987 442 with T-tops and a custom 350, a 1995 Mustang GT fully tricked out and my latest is a 2004 Dodge Ram QC (HEMI 5.7L but using HEMI 6.1L cam and lifters). I raise (English) Mastiffs and before them I bred and raised Rottweilers and Dobermans. This PC I am on is a 2.6Ghz quad with 3gb and 2.5 Tb of HDD space. I enjoy sitting in my office all day and going over P&IDs in AutoCAD (thats Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and come here just for fun to try to help out noobs like yourself you actually have very simple issues but dont tell the entire story and therefore make something that is very simple, very complex.

Had you true restored your device to its carrier WM5 OEM ROM like you said you did I feel as if you would not have had these issues.

mikeklemz: I vote for a ban.....not to be rude but your name calling is not doing this forum or subject any good.
If you don't like it, find another place to get your info or ask your questions....or play nice like the rest.

OK, just to get it over with, I was evidently wrong for telling you not to be an ***-hole; i apologize. It bothered me that you were being critical of wm6/6.1 instead of being constructive and trying to help the guy. Next time i'll just ignore it and whatnot... my bad.

Name calling is pointless and only leads to more trouble. I do it sometimes and there is no place for that. We gotta be careful here otherwise crap like this happens. (I did it too but I apologize.)

Re: STUCK IN EV-DO can not receive calls PLEASE HELP

Wow!! All I asked for was a little help and ended up listening to some jerk tell me what all he really does not have in his garage and how small his U-No-Wut really is. I am sorry that you have that problem and I dont know how to tell you how to fix it other than maybe plastic surgery.

I think thats called little _ _ _ _ syndrome?

Dude my phone is fixed so chill out.

Have a nice day. Im done with this one.
