Re: Apache owners???????
Yes, you are correct, the Diamond does not have an expansion slot whereas the Touch Pro does. Also the Diamond in Tri-band and the Touch Pro is Quad for those interested in knowing.
There are already forums for the Diamond and Raphael (Touch Pro) but oddly enough they are for Sprint. I guess they forgot they will be for VZW as well. I guess they will correct that later down the road.

Re: Apache owners???????
Weedahoe,
Sweet - it looks like you bought a Diamond. Hopefully you can confirm or deny the video results I got from that other user. I provided the link to the video file in the thread I attached. By the way, that's a nice dog in your profile pic. Is that an American Mastiff and is it yours? Maxx134 hopes that updated drivers will or have improved video, but a new post was added to the thread from the Diamond forums. A user basically complains about video performance in relation to his older devices. So I suspect that it's still a problem. |

Re: Apache owners???????
Yeah, Im definately gonna give it w work out.
As for the dog, that is a Mastiff. There really is no such thing as an American Mastiff. People recognize the breed as an English Mastiff because the English used them to guard castles in those ages but AKC only recognizes them as Mastiffs. However there are other types of Mastiff such as Bull and Cane Corso, ECT. I have 2 females and a male Mastiff. My one female just has 16 pups on July 2nd so we are really excited. I used to breed and raise Rottweilers and Dobermans but Mastiffs sell for A LOT more. Plus most people are scared of a 200+lb dog. |

Back OT: I'm really looking forward to having a CDMA VGA device. The conjecture about who will have it first and whether the Diamond, TouchPro or TouchDual will be out first is interesting, but really doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. The difference likely won't be that much. I'm hoping that my Apache makes it to when the Pro/Rafael comes out, but if it dies when the Dual or Diamond are here, I'll have to live with either of them. Hopefully the Dual will cost significantly less than the other two. |

Re: Apache owners???????
Weedahoe, definitely get back to us with your observations.
As to the Mastiffs - that's awesome, I love those dogs. I was researching them, then got worried about the need to move a 200+ pound dog if it ever got sick and needed to go to the vet. As to the American Mastiff comment - there's a breeder named Flying W Farms I believe, that's bred a variation of the English Mastiff with a dry mouth. In other words, it doesn't drool as much. If you're a breeder, you've probably already heard of them, which explains your comment about "American Mastiffs" not being recognized by the AKC. |

Re: Apache owners???????
Not sayng they cant or worn but you usually do not hear of a mastiff being aggressive or violence by nature. However, like everything else, it can be made to preform that way or may have other things involved that led up to it. Mastiffs are not cheap so I hate to hear about you bud and the dog.

Re: Apache owners???????
yea, I know we're way off topic here, but he had it comming, he's way too confident around dogs. another friend has a alaskan wolf and he playes way ruff with it, but has done it since it was a pup.
his "trowing" arm is healing nicely though. (we're big Disc Golf'ers) |
