how do i get evdo on my ppc6700?

I used to have it but the icon doesn't show up any more

What does show up in its place? Is it just 1X or a triangle or what? Did you make any changes recently?

yeah the only thing it shows is a 1X. I was looking at the services of the phone and mode of operation and saw hybrid, EVDO,1X and I clicked ok and it rebooted. I didn't read what it said but I guess that's when it stopped woking. I tried setting it for each of the options but only EVDO doesn't work.

Keep the setting in hybird. As for not getting EV-DO make sure cricket (eh) has EV-DO in your area if they do update your PRL. Are you using WM 5, 6 or 6.1?

how do I update my PRL and I have WM5. Cricket does have EVDO in my area.

I got it working. What I found out was I could access ##778 becuase I install a customer dial pad and when I uninstalled it i got in and I reinstalled the PRL file and now it shows Ev. Thanks for your help.
