Even though my Mom told me to stop playing with it or I'd go blind, I've been trying to breath life into my 6700 with no luck. a few times a day, I press the power button and the soft reset. It just aint working.
Friday, I activated my old phone until the replacement arrives from Verizon. They could have overnighted it but it was too late to catch the Thursday shipping. "You'd probably get it Monday anyway." AND... It would cost a premium price. Thank you. NO! So, Tuesday maybe. I don't think I mentioned it before, but I disconnected my landline. So if I wanted calling privelges, I needed a phone; thus the old LG4400. Amazing how quick that worked.

New xv6700 arrived via fedex. Though I am not surprized, it looks like all the software has been upgraded (over the one I got 2 months ago). Good news is I sync'd up the device with my office PC (contacts only), bad news is I didn't save any of the pix I took. I'm missing about a dozen or so really good ones of my dog interacting with nature (that is, a snapping turle).
One new thing I got is volce speed dial. Now, I did like Voice Dialing on my LG4400 and I hope it's at least that good. Thanks for all the help. Even though it didn't ever come back, I learned alot about the xv6700. |
