personally I LIKE 1.41 BETTER AND IF YOU DONT YOU'RE PATHETIC. TELL ME WHAT 1.43 HAS TO OFFER COMPARED TO 1.41!! TELL ME!!!!!!

Who pissed in your Wheaties? Kind of rough to call people "pathetic" because they might have a preference other than yours.

I'm having some of these ridiculous waits while using 1.41 for a while- but I think it has something to do with the ROM or the dialer in the new ROMs not working well with this hardware. I'm trying the 1.43 radio anyway- I can always go back.

Also, just so everyone knows, it is possible to do the radio upgrade without doing a hard reset. (Despite what the directions say at the end of the upgrade.) I just completed the upgrade, did a normal soft reset and everything seems to be working fine. I'll find out tomorrow with some regular phone use if there is any difference for me.

Re: PPC 6700 radio upgrade

I tried both radio upgrades (1.41, 1.43) and find V 1.15 to work best on my 6700. Less dropped calls, better data performance, better signal. Might just have something to do with my area. Who knows. I'm going to upgrade to a Mogul 6800 so hopefully that will be better for signal, plus it's upgradeable to REV A.

Thats right, you have to covertly sneak some file from 1.41 into 1.43 because if you do not then 1.43 will hard reset your device just as Trident pointed out. I learned the hard way once and never will do it again.
