3.5 Dialing delay.

I am experiencing a delay between dialing and connecting. This is evident when the ev icon is a square and the arrows are over the bars.
there is a long pause for the icon change to 1x and the arrows to go away?

Anyway to speed this up?

That means your evdo isn't working for dialing. I don't have that problem with 3.5

no delay here either

Just tested again, no delay as the EV icon changes to 1X and the call goes though right away.

I would try reprovisioning with your MSL if yo are on sprint.

Sometime I notice a delay; other times its not there. Its not enough of a delay for me to worry about; I'm never on that kind of hurry to make a call.

EV-DO = EVolution Data Oonly. Phone calls cannot take place over an EV-DO connection so your phone must negotiate a switch to the 1xRTT tower for placing/receiving calls.
