Colonel's 3.3 Beta 3

Alright, since I am moving on to AKU 3.5, I decided to post what I had finished as far as the 3.3 beta 3. Mostly this is for those who where still at beta 2 and wanted installers. I will try to get a Wiki page together to discuss all of the included apps. Please feel free to discuss any issues, but be aware that I am not running the 3.3 anymore and it will be harder to find fixes. However, with some hiccups with 3.5, I may come back. I would suggest anyone that wants a smooth running rom to install this.

Two known issues are the shell errors that cause resets and PAN not working. Once there are fixes, I will update the roms.

To install:
1. Download the proper package for your carrier. There is an installer with a blank ExtRom if I missed a carrier.
2. Place the phone in Bootloader mode by pressing Power, Record, and reset. It should darken
the screen and say Serial.
3. Connect the phone to USB and the darkened screen should read USB.
4. Click on the installer .exe and the Utility should run.
5. Double check what you are installing when the upgrade utility asks you to confirm install

I will be getting these posted throughout the afternoon. I will also be getting a 3.5 together, but there are still several issues with it. Like I said, for those who want to play it safe, go with this.

They are uploading as we speak. It will take a while to get them up there. They are from 48-53MB so it takes a while to upload.

Ok thanks.. Sorry I am new to this Ezupload thing.

Colonel, I use to have Helmis original 3.3 rom and one of the reasons I returned to the Sprint 2.2, was because of the disappearing memory card and because my phone use to hang alot, has this pretty much been addressed with your custom rom?

I assume you are with Sprint, correct? It should be addressed with corrections to both the rom and SprintExtRom. Let me know if you still have issues.

So do I install both your custom rom and Sprint extended rom? If so where do I get the Sprint extended rom from?
Sorry I am new to this, and want to do it right the first time as I read the eighty something page thread on your rom, but was waiting for you to release Beta 3 to give it a go.

Thanks for all you input in this rom.
