Re: New here! switching to cricket with a new 6700

Ok, thanks for your reply. I actually stumbled upon touchflo by searching before you posted.

The program I'm really trying to find is the one that does the contact backup like sms back up or somthing like that I can't remember the name. I'd really appreciate it if you can help me with this one...

That's an easy one. Most ppl use PIMBackup for contacts and it's FREE!

You can even cook it in your ROM cuz it's in the kitchen.

Re: New here! switching to cricket with a new 6700

Well, if this is it and it installs in WM5 you should be able to. It says for "smartphone", though. I'd still install the PIMBackup and use that to restore to WM6. I KNOW that that will work in WM5 and WM6/6.1. No guarantee that SIM Manager will work in WM Professional, which is what you will cook in kitchen.

Re: New here! switching to cricket with a new 6700

Mine fits pretty securely. You probably are not getting it quite right. But that was one of the beefs that I had when I got the phone. You are right to be careful putting it in as I think it is too fragile and alot of ppl have broken it. I even have trouble sometimes cradling it. But it should not just fall off. If the connectors are OK, should be a tight male-female connection. Just make sure you align it right.

Oh, assume your contacts are on a regular phone. If it has Bluetooth, you can BT beam them to the 6700. Maybe save a little typing...Have a good one.
