BT issues with 6700 and plantronics 320

My plantronics 320 headset is constantly disconection, sometimes while i am on the phone. I know its not a distance issues cuz most of the time my phone is in my pocket. And when i recieve an incoming call, if i press answer on the phone instead of hitting the button on my headset, the call will only come through the phone. Is my headset just too outdated for this phone? What would you all recomend using?

If ur in the market for a new one you can check here and here. As far as that headset it should be fine (lookin at the specs, not owning one myself), not sure about ur disconnection probelm, havent seen it or heard of it. And yea if u answer with the phone button it does override the headset. hope this helps.

you know waht, i just actualy noticed i use that particular plantronics headset, and I have had no problem out of it at all. Is the most confortable for people with big hears.....but mine are small

As far as the headset disconnecting, it will connect as soon as you answer the phone call wither with the phone button, or the headset itself. I noticed that when i first got it (it came free with phone)

Where do you stay at ajk??? i migth be able to work something for you on a discount with bluetooth

Are you keeping the 2 devices in line of sight. If you put the PPC and the bluetooth on opposite sides of your body this can cause reception problems and dropped signal. Also Plantronx has the multi device technology, so make sure its not trying to pick up another device. Hope this helps.

hey ajk try this. when u wakup in the morning open the phone manager and on the bottom where it says settings go to bluetooth settings and make sure there is a checkmark where it says "Turn on Bluetooth" if there isnt check it and if there is a check uncheck it and recheck it. then go to devices and hold ur stylus over ur bluetooth headset and click set as handsfree. i was having problems with the headset auto disconnecting during the day and since ive been doing this method i have not had a problem i think it has someone to do with either phone alarm or the wireless today plugin i have installed lemme know if this works for you.

so its not the headset. the BT on the phone is turning itself off and i have to go into connection manager and turn it back on. i called cs and they put a note on my profile so i can get it switched out. called my local store and i have my fav. sprint employee brian( yea i know ALL the guys at my store, kinda sad) searching through all of them doing the ##***# to find the pri number and the manufacture date to try and get me an old one too so i can do a rom upgrade and the work around. if anything ill at least come home with a stable phone without all these glitches. i love this phone too much to switch give it up tho, gonna go through as many as i need to before i get one working right
