Go to pocket outlook and you will find your new pic mail set up there or just go to your pictures and try to send one and you will have the send via MMS option.

what about those next steps the configuartions I'm suppose to do. i just tried to send a pic...theres no MMS option

i think i got it but I can't go the the contact name and pull up mms and send the picture that way?

Not sure if you can mine will but I am not ruining the same AKU as you, If you tap and hold on a contact name in contact view is there a send as v card pix option. On mine this is pic mail.

EDIT: There is also a pic mail option in the drop down menu on my PPC

i just tried to send it to my sisters phone...it's not going through

It will sometimes the network is slow. give it a while,it will go through.

I will...I still have to memorize the numbers and then go into the pics...I would love to be able to send the pic straight from the contacts...but at least I can send pics now. Tahnks again.

just go to contact list, hold the stylus and select it from the menu.

Does it matter where I install the cab file.. I currently have it installed on my storage card... I try to send a MMS to myself but get back a failure to deliver message..

soft reset/reinstall......and nope it doesnt matter.

same here i keep getting a failure message

For the ones having issues sending photos.

Uninstall then reinstall, soft reset and it should work.

I had to do this a few times. for some reason at the start when you went into the server information, it showed Verizon, not sprint. The last time i tryed, Sprint showed and it worked fine after that.

Sorry if this was already asked, but I'm a newbie (just got the PPC-6700, and I have never used Picture Mail before)... are incoming picture mail messages supposed to go into the MMS Inbox folder, or is this hack just used for sending? When other people send me picture mail, I just get a text message with a link to Sprint's web site. Thanks

yeah you will need to go to the link and sign in to view the pics.

its jsut for sending the pics. u are still going to rcv texts like before

I have unzipped or unrared the files. Which one is the executabe one? I've moved the files to my phone's mini SD but i'm unable to lauch any file. Any idea anyone?

shoul only have one file after unzipping. u apparently extracted the .cab.

after unzipping I have anohter zipped file. I unzipped that and it shows several files. they are as follows:

00CAB4BA.999
00CAB4BA.998
00CAB4BA.997
etc etc etc

there is no .exe or .cab

that other unzipped file is a .cab not a zipped file its just associated with winrar.

I have been using this for a while now. My question is should this also work for animated text(pic) messages with sound also? I have posted this question before but got no answer...

won't hurt to try it...I myself haven't tried it tho.

In order to receive pic msgs from others, they'd need to enter 10 digit #@pm.sprint.com ? also is there a setup required to recieve? or it comes as a text msg

I receive the text msg that there is a new pic mail but when i go to the link I get a message saying that my cookies are not enabled. When I check the cookie settings they state that they are in fact enabled.. anyone familiar with this?

huh? as far as I know this hasn't ever worked for alltel since we don't know there correct server settings.

How would you be able to find the correct server? If there is away..

has anyone had any trouble using USB modem tethering after installing the MMS app when running on a 3.3 ROM? Since installing this app, my phone will freeze when in modem mode after about 5-7 minutes of use. When I uninstalled the MMS app, it worked just fine. Am I the only one, or are one of you having problems with it?
