XV6700 stays in airplane mode.

I need some help. I was talking on my 6700 when it just stopped. I did a soft reset and still nothing. In comm manager it shows the phone as being off. I try to restart it and nothing happens. When I do a soft reset, the phone shows H/W-2, M-12, U-4, R none, D 2.07.20 WWE. I have tried a hard reset and the same thing. Any advise.

the radio is gone and you need to reflash your ppc. Download your carriers official rom from this link. Click in downloads section and select your phone model.
http://www.utstar.com/pcd/Downloads.aspx
flash, verify that the phone is working correctly again, then reflash your custom rom if you have any.
By the way if this doesnt work I think you will have to take the phone to the store.

Well I tried the rom, but I received a message and it would not flash. The message was error 120 country id code. the rom you are trying to use is not designed for this. I downloaded from the link you posted.

Did you try flashing to your carrier's release on the OS?

This may let you flash the radio.

I have tried flashing with the rom from the website, but I get an error message saying the rom is the incorrect language.

The problem is that your phone has no radio ROM. If this truly happened while you were in the middle of a phone call (which would be a first) then your phone's flash memory is defective and you'll need to get it replaced via your carrier.
