Re: Bluetooh HID Components
There was no mention of Windows Mobile. Just Bluetooth and Notebook. On the requirements it says 2000/XP/Vista Mac OS.X 10+. But with all common bluetooth profiles (a2dp, hsp, hfp, bpp, avrcp etc.), there are certain inherent functions that are supported as basic interfaces. A bluetooth mouse will obviously need cursor movement as well as a button (for Mac, two for PC). These are inherent in the mouse section of the HID profile.
But, that's not my issue. My issue is within the programming of the pairing of a bluetooth object (my mouse just happens to be the one that discovered it). I pair the two just fine (the phone recognizes the mouse, even gives me a little mouse icon next to it). Before the pairing process completes, the mouse sends the connect command to finish it's pairing and the phone freaks out. The mouse needs no password, but the phone says it does and won't let me say otherwise. If the phone allowed me to click next (instead of greying it out), I'd be fine. But it won't. I have to have a password which makes it so I can't pair my mouse. Catch 22. So, I guess I should rephrase my question. Can anyone make a fix to this process that ungreys the button and allows me to finish without a password (since none is needed)?
