Should be the MSL. There is a program to get it as well.

I used that app to get the unlock code, and followed that process to do a master reset. It worked like a charm!

yes yes yes, but he wants to do more than reset his "settings", we are talking about wiping out the programming in the EPST where you find carrier specific info.

But did you log into the EPST and see what it changed in there? Is it blank or all zeros or what?

I dont see that anything else changed. If it deletes anything more that a 'normal' hard reset i didnt notice it. If anyone wants me to check a particular setting or something let me know.

I think you have to go in and manually change the phone number. I have never seen a master reset take that out.

##778#, for sprint. Select Edit, enter your MSL, goto NAM Settings. Change your phone number info. That's it.

Well I don't have that phone with me right now, but I was pretty sure last night that the phone number was indeed removed by the master reset...
