First off, i think this is GREAT! i'm still trying to figure out how to map the softkeys to diff programs and all, but so far, i am loving this ROM, THANK YOU J-Babes!
question: the screen alignment keeps resetting and is always way off. this causes problems when trying to unlock the phone, and then navigation.
Could some1 please help?

I've been having the same alignment issue. I discovered that if I tap hard a couple of different places that it will self-correct. That might be a good thing for everyone to keep in mind just to see if it works for them. It beats going to the screen alignment screen each time, as this is a nearly instant fix. Just wished it was permanent.

I have a different issue with the screen alignment. Every time I flash my phone it take anywhere from 10-30 attempts at the initial alignment screen for it to move to the next step. Any ideas what is wrong or what i may be doing wrong?

yikes.

I've seen issues with screen alignment when there are extreme resource constraints.... such as very low memory or very low power. I've also seen someone mess up their alignment while pushing the plastic screen protector into the side crevice. I don't remember if this was permanent or if simply removing it solved the problem.

Really nice ROM BigJ, but my problem is Arabic sms. I have aribized my phone after flushing to this rom, and I can do everything in Arabic, except arabic SMS receive. I think this is because the new PalmSMS program whic is no arabic-support. is there a fix for this?, or how can i switch to the statndard SMS apps?

For some reason, the windows live messenger program won't properly install on this build for me - is anyone else having this issue?

Hopefully this Mario-Rom thread will stay on topic. Although BigJ is indeed a wizard magician, he likely doesn't have time to solve world hunger, create world peace, and make our phones speak to us in different languages.

Ok JBaby - I gotta question for ya.

What method are you using to cook this ROM? I'm going to try to cook one over the weekend (basicly what I want to do is make one very similar to yours, but take out some of the games and put in some more biz apps).

I know the Unifed project thingy is out now - but to ROM kitchen released with it?
I have something called WM5_Dumper.exe (or something similar) - I was realllly hoping that I could just setup my phone and then run this wm5_dumper gizmo then just repackage that. The dump created two folders - Files & Modules - but it doesnt look like anything I can really package up.

So....any suggestions? I'd kinda like to start with the new Unified thingy - but if not perhaps I can start with yours and tweak from there?
