holy crap, 29 megs in use... im not sure, on my phone i have about 16 or so.... I think ill actually need some help figuring that one out, the only thing i can do is work backwards removing one program OEM at a time until i find the culprit..

---actually, upon thinking about it, could it be all the file caching that I have enabled taking up the memory.... if you total it all up it kinda makes sense... anyways lets figure this out if thats not what it is!!

updated to revision 9

i finally got around to updating the dialer skin, i cant make the cool screenshots if you wanna drop a pic of the new dialer skin for me.... would be wonderful... updating rapidshare now.... and thank you guys for the feedback!

oh and i got rid of the star sound on the volume control switch, i got about 3 PM's about that...so its back to normal.

oh and i got rid of dominoes game to make room in the ROM for MS VC... thank you whoever updated that to the FTP!!!

A note on disabling the LED's. If you use vibrate alerts, you will need to turn the LED's back on.

downloading version 9 now, will definitely post more screenshots, thats not a problem. The memory usage isn't that big a problem for me, i was just curious as to why so much was being used. If you could figure that out that would be awesome. And I need to find a way of being able to get screen shots of the setup process after you hard reset, all the mario stuff you put in there is great! I'll definitely have to enable those LEDs but thats about the only change I think I'll have to make. Great work so far BigJ, can't wait to get using this.

Well i have 16.xx meg in cache size for the file systems
4.xx megs cache on FAT file systems
4.xx megs into glyphe caching...

added up is roughly about 24-26 megs... and your right, after my initial hard reset i have nearly 25 in use.

It makes "logical" sense to me, and man the phone flies like i never thought possible, its SOOOOOOOO FAST!~

Ill zip up the TSK's for you guys after class if you like, and as I have been asked im going to post up EVERY registry change that is made to give you guys some more insight as to what is going on behind the scenes.

Just installed revision 9 and I see you cleaned up some of that Program Memory. I've got 23.64 free after a hard reset. After 24 hours of using my phone for all types of situations I didn't have to reset once, and everything worked like it should. This is one very stable rom. Well done BigJ!
