New Voice/Data plan now accessible (I think)
Ok, I called to add the new combined voice/data plan for $79.99 and it was a success so far, and the reason seems to be as I was told that the old plans are being phased out. Email is included with this plan as well. It's on the website for those who want more details...
Text and picture messaging is the only catch....unlimited for the same price you are paying now, or just pay for the $5 plan....(which I kept.) I had the plan added at the end of my billing cycle so that I wouldn't have to pay the prorated charges of having 2 different plans. Anyway, I'm waiting till the end of my billing cycle to see if it all worked or whether I messed up royally....

It is not on their web site yet? The one there is the same one they have had. $79 for voice and Email...

Yeah, that is not a real "Data" plan.... My understanding is that you cannot get away with unlimited kinds of activities with it. So I have been told... They still offer nothing to compete with the iPhone pricing plan.. Although they did just turn on EVDO here in BFE TN... I am talking right turn at the red barn and two miles past the old mule. It will be years before AT&T gets 3G out here..
