tnynyn --

I really like your grey server 2003 ones. I have already taken it and swapped it for the green welcome screen that comes up after the splash screen. Thanks!!

By the way, if anyone wants to swap the welcome screen that comes up after the splash screen (by default it is the green windows mobile 5 screen), it is located in the OS folder a15620eeXXXXXXX. All you need to do is rename the file you want to use to as the welcome screen "welcome.96.png"

finster869's got a good point. The one in the \windows folder is sort of like the OS boot screen. The one replaced into the ROM is meant to be more hardware/carrier centric (not that it's a rule or anything), but if someone wants to create one along those lines it would be cool to see

The only problem with carrier specific is that it isn't generic enough for the whole kitchen. It could be swapped in for each user though. Just a thought, but i still like seeing all these options!

I meant maybe more hardware specifc... like someone I think had a splash screen with an Apache helicopter on it. That was a cool idea.

Oh, an Apache i get it personally i kinda like the ones that are a little more plain than that like the green and grey ones (still no blue ones in this thread), but clearly this is something where everyone's tastes will be different there probably won't be one supreme boot screen that is everyones favorite. I don't know why i didn't catch the hardware part of your post earlier though.
