Re: HELP! HELP! HELP! 6700 locking constantly

most of the time people get crazy and just put to much software loaded on the rom...try little by little.

d/l pimbackup (freeware) for your contact backup.

Re: HELP! HELP! HELP! 6700 locking constantly

also before you reflash delete your cache/temp/mail/IE cache/texts/ anything that will eat up space thing of that sort and see if it will stop freezing. Things like this start happening when the 67 is running low on memory (program/storage)

this sound weird. But is reflashing the same as just reinstalling wm6.1? or reflashing is something different

In the pocket phone world "Yes" it would be kinda the same sort of, cause you need to "reflash" to "reinstall" wm6.1. (brandnew) also a "hardreset" will "reload" wm6.1 (already installed in device).

I guess the key words are:
Reflash = Reinstall
Hardreset = Reload

just FYI:
On a PC "reinstalling" means O/S, Programs..etc.
On a PC "reflashing" means BIOS...etc

So in your case which sounds like maybe to many programs or a bad file cooked into the rom on a "hardreset"...the same amount of program are going to be reloaded and your problem will be most likely still be there, now if you tune down the amount of programs in your cooked rom and "reflash" you are going to reinstall a brand new wm6.1 different from the one you had on.

I tried to make it easy.
