No - it should not be included in a base / core ROM. It's a personalization / customization that can be done in an OEM.

Sfaure03 this might of been fixed, I am not sure, but there is an issue with IDTransfer in 3.5 ...

that was addressed w/ the netcf dll patches, and I am loading a rom from a kitchen that has that in it. I dont even know what IDTransfer does.. but from what i've been told these DLL's fix that issue

yes, they fix it. IDTransfer sends the caller announcement from VC to the BT headset. So, when someone calls, VC announces the name\number and I do not have to scramble to look at\listen to the phone itself.

Man, Its hard to keep up with all the patches and what not...
IDTransfer says the name of the person calling over your bluetooth headset with voice command.. I think anyway.. since i havent ever used it.

ok.. i'm making the connection bubble be disabled by default in the kitchen as well.. any objections?

If thats the redundant thing that pops up and tells you you have nothing active to change this goto setting or something.... I dont object.

Also, you could disable the message sent thing, and add a disconnect and time thing to the data connection. If you dont mind.

Is this the "Dialing #777" bubble? I think you should leave enabled. BTW, thanks for your hardwork in putting this together for us.
