oh wait.. i did have some other changes in that rom, still.. I'll double check them sorry 'bout that. kinda how it goes.. you make a pot full o changes, find a working solution, then back out what didnt solve it.

It doesn't appear to be a fix. I also don't necessarily agree that it is broken. I haven't used it, but if I start Wmodem it appears to load properly.

Has anybody tried wmodem on 3.5??????

Also, there is definitely a modem link shortcut that doesn't work under programs (wmodem's shortcut does work).

I've tried that this morning and was getting cprog is not a valid ppc application. Must be something i'm doiong wrong. cprog in 3.3 kitchen is a module and in 3.5 it is an actual cprog.exe file.

How do I convert a the module into the actual exe file?

Schettj says wmodem app still in kitchen, only works for USB and IRDA not BT DUN (normal, probably could remove it from kitchen and just use Internet Sharing)

can we get cprog.exe from 3.3 rom as the cprog.exe in helmi 3.3 kitchen rom is not in the same format as in 3.5 kitchen from helmi which is in exe form

no, you're trying a shortcut to resolve you're particular wants/desires/dreads. This work is to address the larger issue of resolving the core issues. Maybe ask in a seperate thread please.

yea.. i always include that in roms i work with effortless, but it should be added as an OEM, not as the base kitchen.. Sorry.
